Hamfest Date: June 19, 2016

The Monroe County Radio Communications Association hosts its annual hamfest every year in June on father's day. The Monroe hamfest is held at the Monroe County Fairgrounds which is located at the corner of M-50 and South Raisinville Roads. Stan Arnett, AC8W ac8w@comcast.net will be available to check QSL cards. Applicants can find details about filling the forms out online, SASE to the League, etc. on line at http://www.arrl.org/.  Stan cannot check 160M cards, unfortunately.

Hamfest Hours:
Sunday, 7:30am - 1:00pm
Set-up starts at 6:30am Sunday morning. Saturday set-up is also available from 3:00pm - 9:00pm.

Prices:
$15.00 per (1) 8ft. Table
$10.00 per (1) 8ft. Trunk Space
$6.00 per Ticket (Advance tickets receive 2 stubs)

There will be no half tables or half spaces offered. You must purchase a whole 8ft. space. Each vendor MUST purchase one ticket per person regardless of how many tables or trunk spaces purchased. Limited wall space and electricity is available for inside space.

Other Information:
There will be overnight security provided. No one will be allowed to enter during closed hours except for vendors!

A food vendor will be provided during the hamfest on Sunday! The food vendor usually sells breakfast in the morning for all vendors and buyers.

Ticket Information

Everyone (except for children under 12) must buy a ticket before entering the fairgrounds, including vendors. Advance tickets are $6.00 each. These tickets include 2 stubs. That's 2 chances to win. Tickets will also be sold at the door for the price of $6.00, except these tickets will only have 1 stub which means only 1 chance to win! Handicap parking is available inside the fairgrounds.

Remember, all checks must be made payable to: M.C.R.C.A.

Camping Information

The Monroe County fairgrounds is a fully licensed campground. For a $25.00 fee you can camp overnight right at the fairgrounds. Included in this $25.00 fee, is the use of electricity and a water hookup. Indoor restrooms and showers are also located on the fairgrounds. As well as the fairgrounds, there is also a state park campground nearby that you may be interested in. The information is listed below.
