Welcome to The Monroe County Radio Communications Association (MCRCA) website! MCRCA serves the Monroe County and South East Michigan area. We are a group that enjoys all the diverse aspects of ham radio. We were founded in 1941 and incorporated in March of 1961. MCRCA is Michigan’s first ARRL Special Service Club. One of our goals is to enable interested persons to get their FCC amateur radio license and grow their knowledge and enjoyment of the hobby. The club holds a close association with the sponsor of area ham repeaters, the River Raisin Repeater Assn (RRRA) as well as the Monroe County Amateur Radio Public Service Corps (MCARPSC).
